MineTrust Connector Settings

Note: This Project Settings screen is only available for MineTrust-enabled Studio products and where MineTrust Connector is already installed. This can be installed whilst your product is running.

To display this screen:

  1. Install MineTrust Connector.

  2. Launch the Project Wizard.

  3. Define your project's initial settings and click Next.

Note: All MineTrust-aware projects are backed up to MineTrust Online. Other users of this system cannot see this data unless they have appropriate security settings. Datamine takes your data security and privacy very seriously.

To configure a MineTrust-aware project:

  1. Display the MineTrust Connector Settings screen.

  2. Review the current MineTrust service message.

    1. MineTrust Connector is not configured – This can be displayed if you have installed MineTrust Connector, but there is no endpoint configured.

    2. MineTrust Connector is active – When MineTrust Connector is configured and is currently running, you can start synchronization.

    3. MineTrust Connector is not runningMineTrust Connector is not running but has a configured endpoint. This is because the background service has stopped for some reason. You are also allowed to enable synchronization but will need to restart the service from the MineTrust Dashboard or in Windows directly.

  3. Check Enable project for synchronization. If unchecked, no data synchronization will occur during the project session.

  4. Check Create Shared Project. This allows your project and associated data to be shared with other validated users via MineTrust Online.

  5. Click Next to display the Add Project Files screen and continue configuring your project.

  6. Click Finish to create your MineTrust-aware project.

    Your project is created and the Project Synchronization control bar displays.
